This SERVICE is provided by Sebastian Staniak and is intended for use as is.

Authentication and Passwordless Login

Coupleroom uses a passwordless authentication system.

Users log in by providing their email address and confirming access via a secure, time-limited login link sent to that email address.

We do not collect, store, or process passwords.

This authentication method is designed to enhance account security and reduce the risk of unauthorized access associated with password reuse or leakage.

Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the following legal bases:

  • performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) – to create and manage user accounts, provide app functionality, and enable subscriptions,

  • legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) – to analyze app usage and improve features and performance,

  • consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) – for optional features such as marketing emails or the “Nurture Relationship / Pielęgnuj relację” feature.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in the case of an error in the app, I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data.

This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers.

In connection with subscriptions and purchases, we may receive limited payment-related information from Apple or Google, such as:

    • purchase amount and date,

    • information necessary to verify access to paid features.

This information does not include full payment card details.

Payment information is collected securely through the Google Pay and Apple Pay platforms. These platforms handle the payment process, and I do not directly store or retain your payment card details on our servers.

The payment information collected is solely used to facilitate transactions and process payments for the goods or services provided by my app. I do not use this data for any other purpose.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Nurture Relationship / Pielęgnuj relację – Data Processing

The app offers a feature called “Nurture Relationship / Pielęgnuj relację”, designed to support relationship connection through non-marketing advice and challenges.

By subscribing to this feature, users consent to receiving content via email or SMS.

For this purpose, email addresses and phone numbers are processed solely to deliver this content.

Nurture Relationship / Pielęgnuj relację – Data Sharing 

For email and SMS delivery, I cooperate with Brevo (Sendinblue)
(106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France).

Personal data is shared exclusively for this purpose and processed in compliance with GDPR and my instructions.

Nurture Relationship / Pielęgnuj relację – Unsubscribe and Data Rights

Users may unsubscribe from the feature at any time within the App (“Opt-out of messages”).

Users may also request deletion of their personal data at any time, including data processed by partners such as Brevo (Sendinblue).

Children’s Privacy and Age Restriction

The Service is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older, in line with applicable app store age ratings and content classifications.

The App may include content intended for a mature audience, such as relationship topics, emotionally sensitive discussions, or content that may be considered suggestive or ambiguous.

If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.
